The inspiration for the product derives from the shape and weave of traditional baskets, hence the name CANASTA (“basket” in Spanish). Traditional cane weaving, with its geometric and decorative pattern, is revisited; the design is dilated, enlarged to macro proportions with respect to the original, and applied to seats with an enveloping shape and scenographic look.
